*Disclaimer* Harmonium:SoH is not a recreation or reincarnation of the EQ version of Harmonium. The vision behind Harmonium: SoH differs a great deal from the previous incarnations of the Harmonium organization in Everquest, and will be stylized and structured accordingly. This new Harmonium will be more casual friendly and consist of several old friends and allies. Previous membership in Harmonium EQ does not grant you automatic entry into the Harmonium organization in Vanguard

Harmonium heavily employs a guild first system and attitude, supporting honor, selflessness, integrity and unity. We do not seek individuals looking to obtain personal glory and selfish goals. The primary goal of individuals in the guild is to have fun and maintain the integrity and cohesiveness of the guild. There will be no false aspirations of 'Fortune and glory'. Ideals promoted by The Harmonium include the following:

  • Self Sufficiency - This includes the ability to think for oneself without the need for 'hand-holding'.
  • Leadership - The guild heavily encourages it's members to develop as leaders and getting involved in daily activities, settling disputes and a higher level thought process.
  • Selflessness - Be able and willing to 'give' more than you expect to receive.
  • Maturity - The ability to handle yourself in an appropriate manner in any situation, settle matters in a professional manner, conduct yourself without offending others and abstain from acting like a 12 year old, as well as avoiding annoying guild officers and other guild members.
  • Moral judgement - The ability to choose the right thing over wrong, honor over dishonor, act with integrity.
  • Honesty - While honesty requires sacrifice in the short term, it is highly rewarding in the long term. Honesty is vital to serving the guild and maintaining your personal integrity as well as the guild's.
  • Humility - To humble oneself is risky, but it usually pays off in increased credibility
  • Purpose - Purpose can empower people to reach greater goals than they ever thought possible
  • Kindness & Compassion - The way you treat other members, as well as nonmembers can directly affect how you are treated in return.
  • Agressive Pursuits - Pursue goals agressively, but within bounds of proper behavior.
The Harmonium has designed a system and standard for which its members should think, react, conduct themselves, perform, and treat others. People who can't buy into the system should not apply. **The guild will not be sacrificing internal integrity to accomplish any single goal or purpose. Greatness will come from within.**


Disclaimer and General Rules and Guidelines

We (The guild as a whole) reserve the right to deny your application or revoke membership status at any time. We will always try to give you the benefit of the doubt, and it will always be discussed among the officers before any action is taken. Keep in mind that as a member of the guild, you serve as a representative of the guild at all times, including guild time AND personal time. Members of the guild should act accordingly.

The following issues will be grounds for immediate rejection of applications, and are not tolerated activities by guild members:
  • ANY form of PlayerAuction type sales is prohibited and shall be acted against with extreme prejudice. Sales of items and money, even those gathered on 'personal time' is completely prohibited. This is not up for debate
  • Using the name "Harmonium" to bully others
  • Defaming the Harmonium name either with rude/insulting conduct to others, or by "bad-mouthing" the Harmonium
  • Kill Stealing
  • XP/Named camp stealing
  • Intentional Training
  • Whining (especially about loot)
  • "Ninja-looting"
  • Disclosing tactics to those outside the guild
  • Disclosing guild chat or private forum message to those outside the guild
  • Begging for items/cash
  • Only participating in activities that can benefit your character
Application Process:

The application process for entry into the Harmonium will definately not be a speedy process. The application process requires plenty of patience, communication and dedication to the guild. Time is required to ascertain whether or not you are a solid fit for the guild, as well as if the guild is a solid fit for you. Membership in the guild should be a symbiotic relationship between the guild and the member/applicant. Keep in mind that as an applicant of the Harmonium, you are expected to conduct yourself as if you were a full member of the guild.
